Parent Academy for Student Success (PASS)
THE PROGRAM THAT HELPS YOU SUPPORT YOUR CHILD!
Parent Academy for Student Success (PASS) is a FREE program that is open to all Westminster Public Schools parents, including Spanish speakers. PASS helps you open the door to opportunities for your children by giving you the knowledge and skills to help your student be ready for life after high school. Based on a program that has benefited students and families for more than 30 years, PASS teaches you how to help your child prepare for their career and college, beginning as early as elementary school!
WPS PARENTS - Do you want to learn how to help your kids be prepared for high school and beyond? Come get important information from PASS!
PASS is excited to launch the program at Westminster High School! The classes are offered in both English and Spanish and we will provide FREE childcare. PASS continues to be an incredible source of information and knowledge for parents and provides them powerful tools to connect with the school as well as learn how to support their students academically, emotionally and socially. Learn about Colorado’s new graduation requirements, which went into effect with the class of 2021, get ready for parent-teacher conferences and discover ways to obtain financial aid for college to support your child’s career options, and more.
PASS launched in spring 2017 and has since celebrated eight graduating classes. Cohorts have been held at Scott Carpenter Middle School, Shaw Heights Middle School, Ranum Middle School, Westminster High School, Hodgkins Leadership Academy, Harris Park Elementary, Mesa Elementary, Orchard Park Academy, Tennyson Knolls Preparatory School, Sunset Ridge and Flynn a Marzano Academy.
We have over 700 parents who have attended the program and are now active parents in our community!
