Furthering Your Education After High School
- Keep track of your credits to meet graduation requirements
- Check out how to earn college credit while you are in high school:
- Concurrent Enrollment (Front Range Community College, Emily Griffith Technical College, Metropolitan State University)
- Advanced Placement (AP) Classes
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Classes
- Project Lead the Way
- Apply for Access Opportunity Scholarship
- Attend the Excel Pre-Collegiate Program
- Be a leader in clubs, sports, and other groups in high school
- Start a savings account
11th Graders Only:
- Earn a 20 or higher on the ACT
- Attend college fairs, tours, and college recruiter presentations
Starting Work After High School

- Take career interest surveys
- Check out how to earn Career and Technical Education (CTE) credit while you are in high school:

- Sign up for volunteer, service learning and/or job shadow opportunities
- Experience 9 to 5
- Finalize your resume, create your employer target list and start networking
- Attend job fairs and employer visits
- Check out apprenticeship/certificate programs
- Be a leader in clubs, sports, and other groups in high school
- Start a savings account
