The Westminster High School HOSA Chapter was well-represented at the Colorado State HOSA Leadership Conference, held at the Downtown Denver Sheraton from February 19-21. Five exceptional health and biomedical sciences students competed in a variety of medical knowledge and leadership events, including Home Health Aide, Biotechnology, Community Awareness, Health Career Display, and Nursing Assisting. While all of our students performed well and represented our school and district in a professional manner, the following students placed high enough to earn the honor to represent Colorado at the National HOSA Conference this summer in Houston, TX: Anatalie Banuelos in the Home Health Aide competition, and Allison Manzo Castaneda in the Home Health Aide competition. Congratulations to all of our HOSA students and to the students who qualified to represent us at Nationals!
